I replaced the gear drive in my overhead door drive and was unable to adjust the chain drive. Called Spectrum Overhead and Travis made the adjustment within time and price quoted. The garage door would not descend and he told me it was a bad circuit board. I replace the circuit board, but same problem. After a little investigating, discovered the wires to the electroni sensors had been cut and the sensors repositioned. I wired the sensors back to the opener, repositioned them and re-installed the old circuit board. Everything works as it should, no thanks to Travis. Being a Senior, this was alot of work for me.

I INSIST THAT THIS CUSTOMER REMOVE THIS POSTING IMMEDIATELY!

I offer a 100% money back guarantee for anyone who is not satisfied with our work for any reason. The person making these allogations has never contacted me reguarding a complaint of any kind. The fact that the person claims that "Travis made the adjustment within time and price quoted" means that I completed the work as agreed. If my repair was incomplete then I would not have requested payment, as is my policy. Furthermore I don't believe I even charged this man anything, not even a service call!

I feel for this gentleman, but please understand the following:

1.) HE INSTALLED THE GEAR as a do-it-yourselfer and ran into difficulty

2.) He called us to finish the job and adjust the opener which we did successfully. If the wires had been cut, as stated in his complaint, it would have been impossible to set the limit switches. His opener continued to act up with other symptoms, and being an older opener, I decided NOT TO CHARGE for the call and left an estimate for installing a new opener.

3.) After having further trouble he then tried to INSTALL HIS OWN circuitboard.

I challenge this person to TELL THE TRUTH and confirm that I did not charge him for a repair.

When a do-it-yourselfer tries to make repairs on their own, THEY have to take responsibility for the outcome. If I had said the problem was with the circuitboard and was hired to replace it, but it still didn't operate properly, then I would have to eat the time and expense of my error. He never hired me for this. The problem here is that he ventured out on his own, and therefore must take responsibility.

Now if his garage door opener fails again anytime soon, it will be obvious that he should have gone with the new opener as I suggested with the FREE ESTIMATE I left him.

PLEASE REMOVE YOUR UNFAIR COMPLAINT. YOU NEVER EVEN PAID FOR SERVICE!
