Here is the thing. When we bought the phone the lady at the desk told us when we bought the phone it is ours, and we bought it outright. She did not bother to tell us about the monthy fee that was tacked on to using the phone service. At any rate, we couldnt afford the monthy bill, and the sim card stopped working. Lo and behold for the past few months spectrum has been charging a fee on a product we no longer use. I got a hold of someone from spectrum on the phone and tried to cancel it. They told me it would be a fee to cancel the services. I was angry. I was not told any of this, and even if their website mentions it in fine print the lady at the counter told us a different story. There isnt much we can do about it, except when its time to pay the internet bill always always always pay in cash.
