Complaint Review: Speedaction Motorsports

Around July 2005 I placed an order from this company in the amount of $198. After several weeks of not receiving the item I e-mailed and never got a response, and upon trying to call them the phone just rang with no one answering. After several months of calling one day someone answered and I cancelled my order (they stated my order was on back order of which I was never advised of, and they tried to get me to order another size or item).
After a month of no refund I continued to call hoping to talk to someone about the matter, but once again got the ringing phone. Finally one day I talked with someone who stated that a check had been mailed out to me, and I advised them that I hadn't received it. I was told that it would be cancelled and another one would be mailed out to me (I also at this time verified that they had my correct address of which they did).

Well as of this date of March 2006 I still haven't received a refund check, and continue to get the ringing unanswered phone. I will be in the LA area in April and will stop by in person to get my money, but I hope they don't have any problems with their front door being locked all the time.
