Complaint Review: Speedy Lube

I got my car in February of 2012, I went and got my oil changed and fuel injectors cleaned at Speedy lube. Considering its not the newest car I decided to get a transmission flush. The mechanic working on my car called me to the back and told me since I didn't know when was the last time it was done, it wouldn't be smart to do because it could do damage to my car if its not needed and that's $110 that would be wasted. I appreciated the honesty and thought about beim g a regular there since they do what you ask and nothing more......WRONG!!

Time went on and I actually didn't go back until a year later which bring us to Valentines day 2013. I got there at 12 noon for an oil change and a tune up. After calling me back 4 times for issues other than what I was there for I ended up sitting in there for 5 hours before I was finally told the guy couldn't get a piece off "because of the way its positioned". Ended up having to leave my car and the owner had to take me to my parents (after waiting another 2 hours) which forced me to miss my plans for the day and worst of all have someone else pick my daughter up from school. Was told to come back next day around 12 my car will be done and the price will be knocked down.  Called at 12 and was told it should be ready by 1:30. I get a ride there at 3:30...car still NOT ready. Now its something with my vacuum hoses and they were waiting for some type of adhesive and he tried to make it seen like I should be grateful because that was being done for free when I let him know my services should be free considering I shouldn't have had to leave my car. Then find out after a little bit the oil change wasn't even done yet ::beyond heated) gets car finally after 2 hours and go on bout my days.

Now we're at June 6, 2013.....thinking lightening doesn't strike twice went back for something I could have done if I had the tools....oil change and brakes....WRONG yet again. Did my oil change and my brakes....turns out I had  hole in my brake lineand fluid was leaking out. Sat there another 5 hours. Had to have another mechanic repair it and got in an argument with one employee because I said I've never had this many problems with a crack head!! 

At the end of it......ladies if you go....go with a man. They do NOT call men back only the women. I have seen so many women come in for an oil change, leave cone back with a guy who points out the oil wasn't changed or the filter wasn't changed. One case they never even put the car on the machine just had the woman pay and her husband was across the st and said he never saw his car go up and his oil was still dirty. 

Lately I have been having priblems with my car. It wont start unless I gas it, popped the hood they did not hook things back up at all. Not to mention about  month ago I went to put in windshield wiper fluid and they left the brake fluid bottle in my car. Total neglect. I am absolutely done and will be calling them on it.  I have the pictures of the neglect I just thank God nothing major has happened while driving and I have a 4 year old who is in the car with me all the time.....smh Its ironic how the guy who whotold me not to spend money on something I may not need it no longer there.....
