Speedybuys Will not give refund Santa Monica, California
I have been trying for Five days to get my $149.00 that was taken out of my account automatically when I filled out all my information on there site to just get the free 100 bidding points.
After I had given them my information and the new page came up telling me that I had been billed for $149.00 I was not happy. Besides that ,my 100 free bidding points was not included. All I wanted to do was to try the 100 bidding points and if I did not like it ,I was going to cancel.
Also ,there was an article that I was reading online from the Washington News about Speedybuys .com and they did not mention anything about them taking $149 out of anyones account. There is a whole bunch of people that have been taken by this company. The below link has a few of them

To whom it may concern: I was online looking at the Washington News and it had a big write up about Speedybuy. All They had written down on the web page was really good .The only thing that they mentioned was signing up and getting the free 100 bid points . Nothing about having to pay $149 .00 . I went to your site and was looking at the free 100 points that I would get , for just signing up. Well I signed up and entered the code for the free bid points , which was (ctips100) . Then after I hit enter , a page comes up saying that my bank account was charged $149 .00 .
This was not right. I did not see my 100 bid points . All I seen was 300 for $149.00 .I would like you to cancel my account and have the $149 put back into my account. I did not see anything on your (sign up) page ,that said that I was going to be charged $149 . Besides that : I called your number to cancel this order at 1-888-830-5822 on August 23 at 7.56 PM within minutes after seeing this charge .
I was told by an automated person that there would be a wait time of 3 minutes . After waiting for 4 minutes I was disconnected. I called the number again at 8:00 PM and was told by the automated person that the wait time would be 3 minutes again . After waiting 10 minutes , I was disconnected again. I called the number at 8:11 PM and was told it would be a 3 minute wait again . After 3 minutes ,
Bill Thomas , (If that was his real name) Answered the phone and told me , I could not cancel my Speedybuy subscription and that I would have to E-Mail you at this E-Mail address to cancel. So this is what I am doing. When I enter my information online to a site I expect to see what I am about to get into before I pay for it. I do not like money being taken out of my account automatically without me seeing what I have to pay for. I am sorry for the inconvenience . On August 25 I called three times trying to get this resolved. Everytime I called they told me the computers where down.
I have been trying for four days know to get a refund and with all the hassles that I have gone threw. I am getting to the point where I am going to let you handle this one last time.
I have just got off the line with a person named JUDE 0202 and he told me to E-Mail you for a refund. I have all ready done this once. I will give you the benefit of doubt that this does not happen all the time. I am looking to receive my $149.00 back into my account . I will be waiting for your answer.

I was told at 10:44 am August 26 by Jude 0202 that you would respond within 24 hours . It has been over 24 hours and I have not received a response about my refund. I am sorry that you do not take me seriously .You are forcing me to pursue this matter further with the proper people. I am , I think a fair man , going to give your company till 12:01 PM Pacific time on August ,28, 2010 to reply.
If I do not receive a response by then , I will know that you and your company does not care about my refund.
I have never been treated by any company like you are treating me.
I am a Vietnam Veteran who has put 21 1/2 years in the service of my country (USMC and the ARNG ) . I will start proceedings against your company at 12:02 PM PST if I have not heard from your company. I just hope that you will respond before tomorrow afternoon .

8.11pm They told me to send in writing or e-mail to there address for a refund.

11.08 am was told my automated person that a hold time of one minute, again like all my other calls I had made.
I was disconnected after 30 seconds
11.09 am live person tells me to hold for a minute. person comes back and tells me all the computers are down and to call back in three hours.

I told them that they had till 3:30pm today to have this person Jeffery Beltran call before I would report this to the Better Business Bureau and to Ripoffreport and to my bank.
5.55 pm Told again that computers are still down.
Companies like this should be taken to court and have there assets impounded. There is a whole list of things on the Internet about this company and there practices. I should of did a little reasearch on them before I went and ordered from them.
