A beautiful bar great atmosphere...but the food...were talking hospital quality asian fusion...right....worst asian food period. cold food. poor presentation..but the food quality and taste. GARBAGE. ABSOLUTE CRAP. If your grandmother got a recipe out of a seniors magazine and cooked the pad thai...it would probably taste the same. Maybe even better. This place drop 3 million dollars on design than serves food that if left in a parking lot segals would avoid eating. Avoid this place at all costs. We think the chef graduated from a cooking class from a prison located in cuba...but who knows. Does anyone taste anything there? Avoid at all costs. Even if its free. Eat at home.

Nicest club with the worst food we have ever seen and we have seen many as we were New YOrk and Aspen colorado residents. Quintin taratino could use this food in his next horror movie. Hostel 3. Absolute torture to indigest let alone pay for.

Spice Route- Great Food to Match the Amazing Atmosphere

I could not disagree more with Donald from North York. I recently went to Spice Route with a group of 3 friends for dinner. The venue is beautiful; gorgeous decor and great atmosphere worth every penny that the owner's spent no matter how much. The food was the best Indo-Chinese I have had in Toronto. I highly recommend the veggie spring rolls, as well as the fried rice and sweet and sour pork. I am not sure what Donald ate, but I can't even image it coming from the kitchen at Spice Route. While

I understand that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I don't feel that his overly dramatic and derogatory comments do anything to help others make a reasonable judgment. Not only was our waiter really helpful when we asked for suggestions, and but our food came to the table pretty quickly. While we were originally planning to stay just for dinner, we decided to move to the bar area for drinks afterwards.

Overall we had a great night, and I can't wait to get back to try the patio when the weather improves. I would advise everyone to see for themselves what I am talking about, but would recommend a reservation though, as the place is so good that everyone wants to get in.

A beautiful bar great atmosphere...but the food...were talking hospital quality asian fusion. Possible the worst asian food period. poor presentation..but the food quality and taste. GARBAGE. ABSOLUTE CRAP to put it politely. If your grandmother got a recipe out of a seniors magazine and cooked the pad thai...it would probably taste the same. Or Maybe even better. Were lost for words to see someone spend 3 million dollars on design than serves food thats well...lets just be dead honest. SHITE!!! We would bet on it...that if left in a parking lot segals would avoid eating it. We think the chef graduated from a cooking class from a prison located in cuba...but who knows. Does anyone taste anything there? As we were leaving we noticed Susur lee entering. If he eats there they will need to call an ambulance and administer CPR.
We hate to sound so critical because its such a great atmosphere, but it obvious one of the partners must use a feeding tube to eat. It really is that bad. The worst food we have tasted. Quintin taratino could use this food in his next horror movie. Hostel 4. Absolute torture to indigest let alone pay for. Were hope there reading this and the chef gets a real job at an authentic mexican fusion restaurant likeTaco Bell.Donald NORTH YORK, Ontario
