Spiegel Credit Card - FCNB - CMS - Cardworks ripoff FCNB bought out by CMS, aka Cardworks, "cardholder services" - yeah, right. Bethpage New York
Like many other ex-Spiegel credit cardholders, my FCNB account was closed in early 2003 and then thoroughly mishandled. Earlier today, I sat down with my latest bill (complete with fraudulent $35 late charge) to try and figure out who was really handling the billing.
I noticed a company called CMS mentioned at the bottom of the bill. I surfed around and found out who CMS was, and why they're now sending ex-Spiegel and FCNB account holders their bills. There's even a press release here:
http://www.cardworks.com/whats/press/press6.cfm
Now that we know exactly who is mishandling our former Spiegel/FCNB accounts, I suggest we start contacting Cardworks and asking them to sort out the mess. Their CEO is named David Berman.
BTW, if you want a good laugh, have a look at www.cardworks.com. They brag themselves silly about their "cardholder services" - yeah, right.
