Spirit Airlines Cancelled my return flight on a rt ticket already PAID FOR Internet

Horrible customer service...missed an outgoing flight hopped on another airline and got to Vegas.  I only assumed I had my Spirit Airline flight to come home but they CANCELLED it!!!  I had already paid for a return flight!!  They said that is their policy and there was nothing they could do about it.  There is not another airline out there that would cancel a second leg of a flight just cause you missed the first leg, is there?    Had to pay for another ticket...fly with someone besides Spirit.  Not only can you not understand the customer service rep, you have to wait for at least 25 mins to get through.  Terrible, terrible.

There is a specific Policy that deals with this, and applys to most Airlines.

As many multiple stop or return flights are cheaper than one way the customer is required to be on all legs and directions or the reservation will be cancelled.

The cute thing is if you had informed them before the 1st leg left the ground they probably would not have done this.

As it is you look like you are trying to put something over on them (but I don't see how it is putting over anything on them)
