This airline's insurance policy says (at the point of ticket purchase) that coverage includes reimbursement in the event of cancellation of the flight. But after you purchase their ticket and have to cancel for any reason, they tell you the reimbursement is only given in the event that the airline (not the customer) cancels the flight. This specification is not just deceptive, but also baseless, because even without insurance, an airline must still refund a customer's ticket if the airline itself cancels the flight. I purchased insurance along with my ticket and this company refused to refund my purchase. They referred me to an insurance company whom they apparently ordered to make filing a claim as difficult, arduous, and personally invasive as possible. I should have just stuck with Delta, because this has been the worst experience with an airline I've ever had.
