Spirit Incentives BANK OF AMERICA PROMO THROUGH SPIRIT INCENTIVES - DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida
Recently I received "a free Marriott night" for specified spending on my Bank of America credit card. I attempted to use the free night on a trip to Florida and picked several acceptable hotels from their list of hotels. Unfortunately, Spirit Incentives does not actually appear to have rooms at each of the hotels they list on their website but instead tells you what inventory of rooms you can pick from (in my case, all of which were less desirable than those I had specified).
When escalating my concern for their lack of acceptable choices to a supervisor after lengthy holds to reach a live person, she screened my calls then returned it on the fourth subsequent business day to tell me she had nothing else to add that her subordinates had not told me.
I travel for business frequently and have other options to take so for those of you who do not, please do not ever depend on a Spirit Incentives promotion if you actually have a preference for where you want to stay and do not be deceived by their list of "particpating properties". They would be better off not to give you a list at all. Mind you, they probably perform within their stated terms and conditions, but these are completely unacceptable (and are definitely beneath what a reputable company like Bank of America should be offering their customers). If you receive an offer from a company that has enlisted Spirit Incentives to fulfill the promotion, I urge you to look elsewhere to someone who is dealing with another fulfilment firm as your chances for satisfaction will undoubtedly be equal or better with that option.
