SPLASH POOLS AND SPAS - Bob Delmont RIP OFF! FRAUD! PROMISED TO PAY FOR A BUILDER DEFECT THEN REFUSES & MAKES EXCUSES WHEN I REQUEST REIMBURSEMENT! Newport Beach San Clemente California
I DO NOT recommend Splash Pools and Spas. I paid approximately $60,000 for my pool and I recently became aware of a leak in my pool which made my water bill go through the roof because my pool man had to keep refilling it. I called Bob Delmont and he said that if it was his error, that he would fix it. So I had a company called American Leak Detection come out and they said that it was a builder defect. I contacted Bob Delmont and informed him of this and he of course did not come to the table and refused to pay for it so now I am stuck with the $500 repair bill. He said that he just contracts the pools out blah blah blah...just another short sided jerk who has 0 customer service skills and does not care about his customers. He was nice up front when I was writing checks for the pool but after the check writing is done and I come to him with a problem, he of course does not want to know me. Also this clown never put an auto fill in. This is the 21st century, not 1970. Cheap & Lazy...
Finally, I ordered a black bottom pool and now the bottom is all splotchy and looks horrible. Avoid at all costs!!!
I should have checked the contractor's state license Board before I hired this clown. Here is what I found:

As a pathology, it is distinct from a belief based on false or incomplete information, "incorrect" dogma, stupidity, apperception, illusion, or other effects of perception.

I paid you in full. Your rebuttal is complete BS. You're just trying to save your a*s. Why do you have so many complaints against you if you are an honorable businessman? Because your not...you are a third rate joke. Never paid? I have proof of payment in full. Everything in your rebutall is a complete lie. I'm going to report your sorry a*s to the Contractors State License Board where you already have numerous complaints. You spend more time responding to all of your consumer complaints than doing your job and tending to your customers. Now go stuff a cheeseburger down your face you fat slob!!!

LEXI IS A LIAR AND NEVER PAID HER BILLS

Lexi,
I have to point out the facts regarding your lies. Not only did you not pay for your plaster which makes your warranty void, but you decided to hire a cheap masonry company that did not know what he was doing. You never paid him in full as well, and due to your pattern of not paying your bills and trying to receive freebies; he placed a lien on your house. The water feature was built by the cheap company you hired, but American Leak detection that I referred you to said it was a builder defect; the mason builder who built your water feature outside of the pool area was the defect. I also told you that you should not go darker than a French Gray for the plaster color because the darker the color you go with plaster, the more it has a mottling-blotchy look because it is a cement product. This is the reason most people decide to go with Pebble Tec if they're doing a dark color. Not only did you not pay for the plaster, but you didn't end up hiring a person to maintain your pool. You decided to do this yourself. You then hired a pool person after you let the plaster cure incorrectly. Your pool contract was not $60,000, but $40,000 for the basic package and you did not want to do an auto fill because you didn't do concrete decking but grass for your deck. You didn't want the auto fill to stick out the way the skimmer has to outside of the pool area. I have never received a customer complaint but one that was done by a competitor. The contractors board citation was due to starting a pool 3 days prior to receiving the permit. The homeowner wanted to start right away and I take responsibility for not waiting the extra 3 days; but it had nothing to do with a customer complaint. You need to take responsibility and pay your bills and stop all your lies.

American Leak Detection detected the leak and said that it was a BUILDER defect. Newsflash, the entire pool and water feature was built by you!!! Never used foul language. I said you were a lazy jerk which is true. Why do you have so many complaints from many different customers? You should step up and be responsible instead of taking the easy way out and ignoring your customers. It is obviously coming back to bite you. It would have taken less time for you to fix your wrongdoings vs the time spent responding to everyone's complaints with your lame excuses online. Shortsided and irresponsible!
