Sponsored Whips Sponsored Whips will not refund my money Wilmington, Delaware
This company should have charges filed against it!! They are nothing but liars!! We were taken in by Patrick back in Sept. We sent our $199. We sent the refund letters to both their P.O. Box address and the Kirkwood Hwy address, with P.O. Delivery Confirmation.
I started calling right after I received the delivery conf from P.O.
It took me 6 weeks just to get one of them to tell me the accounting dept #. Then I talked to Mitchell in acct and was told after a week of calling that my check was sent out the Friday before and I should have it in a day or so. NO CHECK CAME!!
Called both Patrick and Mitchell numerous times asking them to track the check. I asked both of them what address they sent it to and they both said "I don't have that information in front of me".
After a day or so of calling I got Patrick and was told Mitchell was gone for the weekend. Said he would call Mitchell and find out what was going on and call me right back. NEVER CALLED!!
I kept calling, left both messages that I would even come down to their building and pick up a check personally. 2 weeks and no check.
I called both all day for days and finally Mitchell answered and said he would call me right back. NO CALL BACK!! He finally sent me a text at 8:30 that night saying he would call me the next day. NO CALL!! NO CHECK YET!!
I called him back and after numerous calls he finally picked up and said again that he would find out what was going on with the check and call me back that night. I finally called him back at 6 pm and he told me "they re-mailed the check today." I asked why "re-mailed". He didn't know. I again asked what address they mailed it to and he didn't know. I told him I would give it 3 days and call him back.
Called 4 days later (NO CHECK YET), after numerous calls with no answer I text him and called him a liar!! Told him I was tired of the run around and I would continue to call his phone until he answered. Called Patrick and talked to him. Told him I wanted to come pick up a check. He tried telling me that the checks (just like their payroll checks) are only issued the 15th and 30th of the month. That's funny since the first check they supposedly sent out was sent on Dec. 2nd and the 2nd check was supposedly sent on Dec. 13th. Patrick told me that as soon as "his boss" was off the phone he would talk to him and call me back. NO CALL BACK!!
Mitchell was now on vacation for the whole week. He answered his phone though and said he would see if he could find anything out and call me back. HA!! NO CALL BACK!!
Now it was the week before Christmas, called Patrick and was told again "I'm on the other line, I'll call you right back." After hrs I called him back. He now tells me that they are going to give me my refund but there was a problem. They are saying that they never received the letter, but because I emailed him the copy they would give it to me. I flipped out!! I told him that was a bold face lie!! I sent 2 letters. He tried saying they never received in their office. I told him he was lying. I sent 1 letter to their office address and the other one to their P.O. Box address. I told him someone from their office had to go to the P.O. and get their mail. So there is no way they didn't get one of the letters. Also, why would he say they were "going to give" me my refund if it was supposedly already mailed??? I asked him why I was told by Mitchell twice that a check was mailed? He didn't know. He said he would get it done and have it sent by the holiday. Said he would get back to me by 5 pm. NO CALL. Called numerous times the next day and he finally answered saying "on the other line, I'll call you back." NO CALL.
Called at the end of that day (Dec. 21) and he told me to call the next day at 11 because everyone would be in there for the Christmas party and he would find out from Mitchell what was going on.
Called ALL DAY and left nasty messages for both of them. Patrick finally answered and told me the same story. I flipped out on him. Called back on one of the other #'s and talked to Troy. He was very nice and said he would have "the boss" call me by the end of the day. NO CALL.
Called next day and left Troy a mess. NO CALL BACK. Called Patrick and was told he would definately have an answer by the end of the day. NO CALL.
OFFICE IS NOW CLOSED TILL JAN. 2ND.
Called on Jan 3rd and recording said the office was closed for the week while they moved to their new location. Left messages for Mitchell, Patrick and Troy.
Now it was Jan 6th (11 weeks since they received the letter). Patrick answered Mitchell's corp cell phone, (now I'm not even sure I'm dealing with 2 different people, they sound alike), he said he would call me right back. NO CALL.
Called back, what sounded like Mitchell said he would call me back with tracking #. Said 2 checks were stopped and that I could track the other. I told him I wasn't the one that should be tracking them, again I asked for the address they were sending them to. He said he wasn't in the office and didn't have that info.
Both the #'s I was calling for Patrick and Troy don't work now. Called Mitchell's and Patrick answered quickly said he would call back and hung up on me. I called back 10 min later and he said he was in a meeting. I flipped out on him. Said I didn't care what he was doing, send me my money. He hung up on me. He then text me and said he would call in a few.
My husband had a different # so HE called it. Patrick answered. Said he thought the money was sent out a few weeks ago. I called that # right back and asked Patrick why he just lied to my husband when he has been talking to me all this time and knew the money wasn't sent. He didn't know what to say. Just said he would check into it.
Called on and off through Jan 9th and got the run around from both of them. I have to call repeatedly for about 20 times before they will answer, and then they answer " Hi, what's up?" Finally Mitchell text me around 5 pm. Text said "It was sent today". Called him right back and asked what address it was sent to, he said he didn't have that info in front of him but that a confirmation email with the tracking info would be sent in the morning.
I started calling at 11 am because I didn't have an email yet. After calling both #'s non stop I finally got Mitchell at 11:40. He got nasty with me saying that I was harassing him. I told him I didn't get the email yet. He said he told me that he would send if before 5 pm. That's not what he said!! He told me he had a job to do for other people and hung up on me.
Called after 4 pm. Still no email. After 17 calls he finally answered. He says "What's up?" I said I still don't have an email. He said "before 5 pm."
Called at 5 pm. STILL NO EMAIL. He answered "what's your email again?" I gave it to him. He said he was sending it.
Called at 5:30 pm. STILL NO EMAIL. After 10 calls he answered and told me that I needed to stop calling him. I flipped!! I told him if he would do his job and give me my refund he would never hear from me again!! I told him this was not harassment!! If they were a legitimate company they would hold up their end of the agreement and refund people their money instead of ripping them off!! I again told him I didn't get the email.
He then tried to tell me that acct dept had to send it. I flipped again!! I told him he was the one that said he was sending it!
He tried telling me that he send it but then said he was resending it right then. All of a sudden while he's saying that it pops up on my email. Amazing what happens when you push the send button!!
THIS EMAIL IS NOTHING!! It is NOT a confirmation and tracking!! All it said under the subject was "check was sent today, 1/10/12". There is nothing else there!! Then I look at it more, HANG ON A MINUTE!!! THIS EMAIL SAYS IT WAS SENT 1/10. HE TOLD ME YESTERDAY 1/09 THAT IT WAS SENT!!
I called him right back! He yelled at me for harassing him. I asked him why the email doesn't have any tracking info? He said as soon as he was off the phone he would send it.
I called again later and asked when he was sending it? He then tells me that he doesn't have that info, that acct has to send me that. I yelled more and said he told me yesterday he would send me confirmation and tracking. I told him to stop lying!!
He then tried to tell me that sometimes he says things and I'm not listening to what he says. In other words I'm an idiot and not paying attention. He said all he can send me is a copy of the check.
I asked him why he told me yesterday (1/09) that it was sent and then said in the email that it was sent 1/10? He tried to tell me he never said it was sent. Again, he said I wasn't listening to what he said. WELL, I GOT YOU THERE MITCHELL!!! I told him I had proof.
My husband called the # he had and they (Patrick or Mitchell, not sure) confirmed our address.
I sent him an email with a picture of the text on my phone from him on 1/09/12. It says "It was sent today"!!! I asked him in the email "so, now who's lying!!"
I'm still waiting for the email with a copy of the check. I will continue to call non stop until they send me my money. This company should be shut down and all the people working there should go to jail. They are all criminals. Preying on people.

I have been calling all the numbers I have for Patrick, Mitchell and Troy. I have talked to them and been told the same thing. They just keep telling me they will check into it and get back to me. How much checking do they need to do!! Mitchell's so called Money Order out of his own pocket never came! Wow, what a surprise! And he claims that he is checking with the Post Office to see where it is. I can tell him where it is, he NEVER GOT ONE!!
Like I said, I have talked to all 3 of them a bunch of times. I know their voices very well. I called the number for Patrick yesterday and talked to him. Told him I couldn't get any answers from Mitchell. I asked who was in charge there. He was silent. I asked again, "Who is your boss?" His response was, "Who, my boss?" "Yes, who is your boss?" He stuttered around and finally said his boss was Paula. I asked "Who is in charge of your company?" He told me I didn't need to talk to that person, I need to talk to Accounting. I asked "Who is in charge of accounting?" He said, Mitchell. I said "Not according to Mitchell, Mitchell told me he got a promotion and was no longer in accounting." He was silent for a second. I got quite mad and told him I wanted my refund. I told him I want them to abide by their policy. He said he would see what he could find out.
I called the number for Troy a little while after that. When someone answered I asked for Troy. He said, "This is Troy." I said, "No this isn't Troy, this is Patrick." He tried to make his voice sound lower and laughed saying "Ok mam." I flipped out on him saying that Troy and his voices were so completely different there was no way this was Troy. Once he got a little pissed at me he started talking in Patrick's normal voice saying "I told you I would find out what was going on!" I asked him why he was lying to me trying to say he was Troy. He still tried to insist that he was Troy. So, now, not only do they LIE to people saying they have a money back policy, they also impersonate each other on the phone.
I really don't know what kind of game these guys think they are playing. One of these days I hope this all catches up to them. j
I guess that Patrick's boss is the same Paula (or Paulette as she's called on the website) that answered my first part of this complaint. She sounds like a real winner!!

It is now the 16th week since they received my letter. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and I'm waiting to hear from them. I have also filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office in Wilmington. I was told by Mitchell last week that he got a Money Order and mailed it to me. That was on Wednesday. It is now Wednesday of the following week and I still don't have the M.O. It doesn't take 6 days to get mail from 100 miles away. I get mail from Fla up to me in Pa in 3 days. I just don't understand these people.
It's funny how they haven't even bothered to respond to my complaint on here. The only response they did was that girl Paula stating how confident they were in their 30 day money back policy. Crazy!!
Well, I will continue to call numerous times everyday until I get my refund.
To anyone else that is having problems with them, file complaints with the BBB and Attorney General. That is the only way something will get done about companies like this. DON'T GIVE UP!!
Has anyone that has filed complaints on here actually gotten their money back? Please let me know.

It is now 13 weeks since they received my refund letter. I read another complaint on here that had a rebuttal from Paula. Her rebuttal stated that the person in that complaint didn't send their letter. She said if they had, they would have received their refund. Well Paula, I DID SEND MY LETTER. And it was sent well within the 30 days. And I have proof you received it at both your P.O. Box address and your Kirkwood Hwy address. So, I ask you, WHERE IS MY REFUND???
Since I posted my complaint I have been doing more research. If you research the so called owner of Sponsored Whips "Parham Mahani" you will come up with quite a bit of interesting information.
Also, this company has an "F" rating with the BBB because of all the unanswered complaints against them. But when I said that to Patrick he said that businesses pay the BBB for a rating, so because they wouldn't pay them they gave them an "F". How stupid does he think I am!! I just don't understand how they are able to get away with stealing money from so many people. All these complaints filed against them for years have been about the same issues.
I have made over 200 calls to Patrick, Mitchell and Troy since October 2011. I now am starting to believe that Patrick and Mitchell are possibly the same person. Every time I call them they sound exactly the same. I called Patrick's number the other day and when he answered I asked if this was Mitchell and he said yes. After talking for a few minutes I stopped and asked "Is this Patrick or Mitchell?" He said it was Patrick. When I confronted him on it he said I never asked who it was.
They say that they sent a check to me last week. I'm only about 100 miles from them so it shouldn't take this long to get to me. If they really sent a check then they should be able to provide proof of that. As a business they have to be able to account for their checks, right? When I asked if they could email me a copy from their checkbook I get told they don't have it.
I have offered numerous times to just come pick up a check but get the brush off. Just issue a check and let me come get it and you will never hear my voice again. PLEASE!!!! Come on already, ENOUGH WITH THE RUN AROUND!!

If you are going to post a rebuttal at least base it on the complaint you are posting it to!!
My complaint is legit!! I have been waiting 12 weeks for my refund!! I have been given the run around and lied to by every person at this company!!
If you are soooooooo sure of your companies money back policy the give me myyyyyyyy refund!!!
If this company was so legit why are there so many people with the same complaints!!!
Again, I was told 3 different times that a check was sent. But NO CHECKS HAVE COME!!
You say people need to state FACTS!! Well the #1 FACT is YOUR COMPANY SUCKS and I hope you all go to jail!!
Before posting another rebuttal, why don't you take your own advice and get the facts!! Check with Patrick or Mitchell. I'm sure they can enlighten you on my facts.
I will gladly update this complaint "IF" or "WHEN" my check ever comes!!

This message back supposedly from an employee named Paula? This is the same message that was posted as a rebuttal to one I read from Dec.
In this message she states that this GUY read bad reviews and then wanted a refund.
1st of all I'm a woman not a man!! 2nd of all this is a completely different complaint!! IF PAULA DOESN'T BELIEVE ME SHE CAN ASK PATRICK, MITCHELL AND TROY WHO I AM!!
I don't understand how this company can get away with posting a rebuttal that is identical to another and say that I'm the one that is wrong.

A gentleman read some bad reviews and quickly wrote a bad one about us BEFORE his 30 days were up, but we saw this and he asked for a refund within his 30 days and wrote a retraction and STATES THE REFUND CAME IN!
