Complaint Review: SponsoredLinx

SponsoredLinx AdWords scam, big promises but no results whatsoever Internet

We received a couple of calls from SponsoredLinx tele-marketers, each time promising to dramatically improve our internet presence and put our adds on the top of Google pay/per click pages. They also promised that a dedicated 'specialist' will be assigned to our internet campaign with once a week over the phone consultations about the result, improvements and strategies. Simply put - None of the above happened.

The only aspect of their operations that worked 100% was their charging (read - milking) system, where a day or 2 of a late payment would result in the following email:
**This is a final reminder before lodging your debt with Marshall Freeman Collection. Any extra costs incurred will passed onto you".**

Their charge was $89 p/week, where in a very small print the deal was to still pay them additional 2 weeks even after cancelling the contract.

Let's examine their performance in the first place: The 'specialist' who was assigned to our 'campaign' has no idea about the industry, keywords, CPC or anything else that an average service provider of this sort should have. Our AdWords campaign was running for about 4 years before SponsoredLinX got involved. Our CTR (click thru rate) was between 3-4%, but their 'specialist' disregarded this result saying that at least 8-9% would be acceptable and is achievable within 3-4 weeks. (Luckily I've asked them to keep our campaign so we can compare the results of each).

Long story short - the best SponsoredLinx was able to do was 1% CTR, with average ranking of 4rd or even below.

When we called them to discuss the results, the excuses that we heard were just amazing, such as -will call you in 10 min (which never happened), the consultant is on the brake, away on holidays, sick with flu, and God knows what. Their best excuse was that the person who was doing our campaign has left SponsoredLinX to become a pilot?!? (How ridiculous!!)

Our sincere recommendation to everyone who receive a call from SponsoredLinx telemarketers - AVOID them if you don't want to get ripped off, as that's simply the only thing they are capable of doing - Rip You Off.

SponsoredLinx is unable to produce any results whatsoever and in particular fulfill the promises they use to lure you in signing in.

As soon as SponsoredLinx sign you in, they forget about you like you've never existed, except when they need to charge their ridiculous fees

Remeber this name - SponsoredLinX and keeeeep away from them, away, away, away .. as they are simply a bunch of imbeciles without any knowledge or capability to produce any results!!

Good Luck!!

On the same day I wrote my report regarding the Sponsoredlinx, one of sponsoredlinx team member called me apologised for the matter explained the original account manager in charge our company's job has left the company. and he want to keep us as customer and willing to refund the 2 weeks fee to us and start a fresh with us if we willing to stay on with them. he was in very polite manner and understand why we were frustrate and willing to prove that what ever we thought about Sponsoredlinx was wrong.

so I told him that we will give him few weeks more to work our Adwords account... after a day This morning their client operation manager called me, he sounded a bit frustrated as he did not understand why I think his company is a scam.. and tried to explain to me all the work they did behind the job. I lost my temper there because from a customer's view, can't we express our frustration and write review of bad experience on any company we are not happy with? but wait....or maybe I should do my home work a bit better so I know there are actually lots of things work behind each job or campaign.

maybe it was his frustration tone of voice, I sense why do they need to defend their self so hard if they are a scam company they would just move on to their next victim. He also offered me a free trial to use their service to prove me wrong. I respect that not because they offer me the free services but rather use that period to prove me wrong on my opinion towards to their company. I do apologise to call them a scam company now and I will review again after I use their service so every one out there will know the true value of sponsoredLinx!

same thing happen to me 2 weeks back, sponsoredlinx called me unfortunately I didn;t do my reserch before I signed up with them. this company charges $79 per week for my googld ad words management and $79 /week on Facebook page management. only after 2 weeks they only did put a different campaign name on my old campaign, I was watching my campaign every day, nothing changed for 2 weeks, the facebook managerment is even worse, said they will collect dates for 2 weeks before they start working. So call then after 2 weeks to cancel only find out they will continue to charge you for 2 weeks more even after you cancel their servies. such rip off comapny base in Australia Queensland state. they told me over the phone they are Google australia partner, only found out they are just a reseller that scam people's money....stay away form this company
