I purchased a hat for a christmas gift from sportsalways.com in December 2010.  At christmas my husband let me know it wasn't the right hat.  The next day, I called sports always customer service number and left a message to received the "required" return item #.  I called repeated for 3-4 weeks and got no response.  I used both phone numbers and emails.  Voicemailbox was full and continued to say happy holidays.  Someone finally left a message to just send the hat back to their address and state please refund.

I did this on 1/4 and have yet to see a refund, currently 3/3/11.  I have called, emailed again.  Voicemailboxes full, no email response and no consideration for the fact that I have mailed the item back.

How do they stay in business if this how is how they service accounts?  Internet orders go wrong all of the time.  We need a reliable company just in case that happens.

I would like to personally thank the owner of sports always and his apologies for what has happened with my returns this past January 2011.  They had an awful situation and he explained himself along with returning my money plus more for the inconvenience.  He also gave us an extra gift which my husband and son loved.

All I ask for with customer service is accountability.  I understand things can go wrong and it sounds like this firm had an awful experience that forced them out of business for a while.

Thank you for taking the personal steps to apologize, I will certainly consider SportsAlways for our next purchase.
