Sportsman's Guide Received used equipment when I was promised new! Gave worthless $10 coupon as compensation; CHEAT St Paul Minnesota
placed order for 2 items listed on the Sportsman's Guide website; 10 mm ammunition (50 rounds per box and new shoe stretchers. The 10 mm ammunition was changed from 50 round per box to 25. Order confirmation is attached
Teh company emailed that the ammunition was shipping with 25 rounds per box. I called and was told the internet was wrong due to a change in their datea base. No apologies. Take it or leave it
The shoe trees arrived and were old, used and beaten up. Called and was told the database was at fault. Told I could return them.
After much complainig, i received a $15 coupon good off of future purchases. The coupon can not be used with any discounts or specials! Sportsman's Guide often offers free shipping or other discounts. This makes the $15 coupon worthless.
Sportsman's Guide advetises products that they then do not deliver as advertised. Customers are told that they should understand when mistaked happen. It's not there fault!. In my case it was the "database's fault". As a customer, I would have expected a company to make good on their commitments. Sportsman's Guide does not
I had to take time making calls to Sportsman's Guide. I had to take my time to return the equipment I received that was different from what was promised. For my trouble , I received coupon that was not better than the discounts or free shipping that is normally offered.
I called the home office regarding this and was told that there was nothing they could do!! There is nothing they wanted to do. This company has no regard for customers. Customers are only vehicles to their botton line profit.
A quality company would stand behind the commitments that they made to customers.
