The safe I purchased from Sportsman Steel Safe Company stopped working. The safe would not open after inputting the combination. I called the business multiple times, I could never reach a real person. I left multiple voice mail messages, but never received a return call.
I ended up having to call a business that specializes in safe opening, and they were able to open the safe, and they also showed me the faulty workmanship of Sportsman Steel Safe Company. The welds in the door were very poor, and when the rocker was moved, the entire assembly in the door shifted upwards slightly, causingstress on the locking rods. This stress caused the opening mechanism to break, and prevent opening.
I spent $842 to have my safe opened because the original workmanship was so poor, and the company would not return a telephone call and give me support for their product. I will not be recommending this business to anyone looking for a safe.
