Spray Tan LA Rob Lonardo Stole credit card info & charged $2,000. Refuses to refund money Los Angeles, California
On 03/25/11 I went to an event where Spray Tan LA was offering tans. I filled out a credit card authorization form and got a tan. I thought that was it, but on 07/05/11 & 07/06/11 I was charged $999.99 for a grand total of $1,999.98 in charges i did NOT authorize.
Unfortunately, I missed these charges as my Uncle committed suicide and I guess my mind and focus was somewhere else. It wasn't until 2012, when I was doing my 2011 taxes and entering info into Quickbooks that I discovered the charges. I immediately contacted Rob to let him know. He told me to dispute the charges with my credit card company. I did dispute the charges, but b/c of the time that passed, they refused to refund my money.
I sent copies of all of this to Rob and asked how we could proceed. I sent a follow up email. I heard nothing back from him. I got his number from an employee & called his cell phone & he tried to say it wasn't him, but I said Rob, this is your cell phone, i know this is you. He proceeded to tell me that he wanted nothing to do with this, that I was a moron for not noticing the charges earlier and to take him to court. Which I am doing. I have filed a report with the Los Angeles Police Department and they are investigating.
Allegedly 2 other people who went to the same event had the same thing happen to them. Do NOT use your credit card with this company. They will STEAL your info and make fraudulent charges. There are NUMEROUS reports of similar incidences online. Just google spray tan la & fraud. Where there's smoke, there's fire. Do NOT trust Rob or this company.

I did not buy any tanning equipment
I have NEVER spray tanned anyone nor thought of making a living doing it. The entire story is a lie.
Please provide signed copies of the receipt, or an actual invoice or shipping info, since I live in California and couldn't "pick up" equipment in Florida where you are and your company supposedly is. ANYTHING to substantiate your ridiculous claim.
2nd, if I'm a liar and fraudster, why is there not a single reference of my name and fraud and there is a laundry list associated with Rob and Spray Tan LA? I am not the first, nor will I be the last person Rob steals from. Find the common denominator. (Hint: it isn't me)
I may never get my $2,000 back, but I don't have to live with the karma. It's your soul and I truly hope you get your life in order and start making an honest living instead of stealing from others.

In the March of 2011, one of our clients Thomas M**** purchase Spray Tan Equipment from our company. He paid on his credit card 2 payments totaling $2,000.00. Mr. M**** picked up his equipment that he purchased from our company and received everything he paid for.
Over one year later he starts calling and harassing me on a personal level telling me he has not been able to make any monies in the spray tanning industry and wanted to return his machine. I told him that the company has since dissolved as well as we do not have a return policy for equipment.
I dont understand why Mr. M**** continues to harass me on a personal level when this is a civil and business matter with a dissolved business. He needs to please stop harassing me personally and start doing ethical business and also stop accusing individuals and company of wrongdoing when all business was done in an ethical fashion.
I challenge Mr. M**** to prove his case which he has not been able to do as he is wrong. All he does is file continuous reports which don't get him anywhere as you cannot dispute proof which has been provided.
