Spring River Nursery Ripoff Fraud - False Advertising Want the world to know I was cheated Hartford Nationwide
I am a widow who thought some "lavender" would be nice!
Ha! Ordered on April 1, ad in PARADE ... mailed check and order form. Ha! Tried to stop check on May 4 (hadn't cleared in April statement) More dollars wasted, check was cleared, date on back was 4/15/04. Received two little boxes today, May 23, 2004. Date postmarked May 5, 2004 from Hartford.
I'm not a rocket scientist, but know there are faster ways to ship than parcel post especially with so-called live plants.
Boxes had a printed disclaimer on them by the from the Dept. of Agriculture.....
Two little boxes of soil and some dead "plugs"..Spring River Nursery should not be allowed to advertise in reputable magazines or papers. My first and last order through an ad.
This hurts all honest businesses. My experience will be shared with all my neighbors and anyone who will listen to me! If enough people make enough noise maybe we can get those suckers out of business.
