Springfield Auto Outlet spot delivered a vehicle to me during a snow storm, saying they needed the General Manager to sign off on my lease deal. After asking me to come to the dealership three times in three weeks to finalize the paperwork, and when I got there telling me they weren't ready for me, the fourth week they decided to tell me my lease wasn't approved by Chrysler, could I come up with $2000.00 more dollars, because with Chrysler money talks and they could push the deal through.

Although I would not be approved for a lease at $340.00 a month, Chrysler would approve me for the sale of the vehicle at $450.00 a month. I had turned in my previous lease as a part of an incentive program through Chrysler as a part of this current lease, so I told them I wanted my previous lease back.

Needless to say that was never going to happen. I was harrassed by the salesman to come up with more money to get the lease approved, but in the meantime I also received a letter from Chrysler stating that I was approved for a new lease for up to $30,000.00. This business practice is extremely deceptive and nervewracking.

I would never do business with Springfield in the future nor would I recommend anyone do business with this dealership. I consulted an attorney and was advised that this practice was illegal in the state of Pennsylvania.
