Complaint Review: Springfield Gearbox

Sent my car in to them after speaking to Riaan over the phone confirming they can work on my BMW 330CI car.

It was suppose to take a week and ended up being 2 weeks ..

They were suppose to check the miss on my motor, keys buttons and sort my gearbox out ...

Needless to say they took my car home with them, to the shop in order to test as they could not pickup anything by going around the block. Funny enough they could see the car was fixed by not going home this time ...

I called them and they never called back up until I laid a complaint. The owner Donovan is very rude with disputes / clients saying I am neurotic and so forth ...

So in a nutshell after 2 weeks they did not fix the other issues, they did not put my new oil as requested, they did not even remove my gearbox.

They charged me R 12 000 to replace a few parts without having to even strip the gearbox or replace the oil ?

The manager Riaan stated they had to remove my computer box etc, yet on their report written by hand it states nothing of the sorts. Stories do no match between the staff.

They did not want to give my car before I spoke to the owner ...

I had to get upset before they gave it back.

I am told if I do not replace my fan within 7 days I lose my warranty on work done ?

How in Gods name do you charge a client 12 THOUSAND RAND for the work you did when it seems you only looked at the valve body according to reports and so forth ?

I am shocked by the way they speak to their clients .....
