At the end of December 2014, a person in Springleaf Financial's Lemon Grove, CA, office put through an ACH debit transaction to my personal checking account.  They used my personal checking account information to do this transaction, and did it without my knowlege, permission or any prior authorization from me.  I had no idea they had made an ACH debit to my account, until I checked my account, and saw my account had gone into an overdrawn status because of what they did.  When the debit posted to my account on January 2, 2015, it caused my account to go into an overdrawn status, because, obviously, funds were not sufficient in the account to cover any such transaction.  I was infuriated over the incident, and especially because I had never spoken to anyone at Springleaf Financial to authorize any such transaction.  I was literally in shock when I viewed my checking account and realized what they had done, and what it had caused.  Their actions constituted fraud in my opinion, and I am seeking recourse in the matter.  So far, I have filed a number of complaints, and contacted an attorney to discuss the incident.  I filed a complaint with their corporate office, and they contacted me, and informed they are looking into the matter.  Personnel at Springleaf do not have the right to arbitrarily take any customer's personal information, and use it in the manner that they did my personal checking account information.  On top of everything else, personnel in Springleaf's Lemon Grove office have been less than honest about the incident, but I intend to see to it that they answer for their actions.  I would not advise anyone to do business with this company, as I am now very concerned about their having access to my personal information.  If anyone reading this report has had this (or anything similar) done to them by Springleaf Financial, I would appreciate your responding to this writing.
