When complaining about Sprint, where do I begin? First off, my phone was stolen. Therefore, I called Sprint Customer Service center to see if the thief had used my phone. I found out from one of the company's representatives that indeed the thief did use my phone.
The representative would not give me the number the thief dialed because of the company's privacy regulations. Sprint appears to protect criminals over their own good paying customers. I was irate and told the representative that I could not afford a new phone. She then told me that she would give me 50% off of my next phone and I would not have to pay for the time that I did not have service.
Well, to conclude this story, she told me lies. I had to pay phone bills for when I had no service. And the 50% off, it is not an immediate 50% off like the reprentative promised, it is a rebate. Why should I have to suffer for inexperienced and clueless customer service representatives.
I then went into the Sprint store for help. I bought a new phone on a credit to my bill and thought Sprint's billing department would automatically give me the 50% off on the purchase, which would appear on my next bill. No representative at the store told me that I had to buy the phone in cash to get the 50% off. Therefore, I was cheated out of my rebate. They told me they could not help me with anything and to call the 800 number. The 800 reps tell me to go into the store, meanwhile, nothing is getting done!
In addition, their add an extra line for $10 plan (which was the plan I had) is sneaky and criminal. I had 1000 minutes at $100 a month for two phones. What is the ten dollar charge for? For the ability to share the minutes between two phones I have already paid for? This is absurd and criminal. Now they have changed that plan, you can add an extra line for free. I think that Sprint's customers that have paid that $10 charge for the last 2 years should receive a refund for misleading advertising. Also, for not receiving any kind of product or service for the $10 charge.
Sprint is a criminal company that takes advantage of hard working, good customers. I am so frustrated that I have not been able to do anything on my own. I sincerely believe the government needs to placed more strict regulations on these telecommunication companies...they are getting away with murder.

When your handset was stolen the rep was correct in not giving you the numbers the thief dialed. these are not Sprints Regulations but the FCC's Regulations. If you require this information you can access it online at www.sprintpcs.com there is a list of all the detailed calls you made or you can request a reprint of your bill 5.00 fee. As for you suspending your service while your handset was stolen you are still responsible for your monthly Charges while your handset is suspended. this is inorder for sprint to keep your number for you if we were to exprire your account. you would have been billed 150 ETF and lost your number. As for your rebate it is a mail in rebate and all info on the rebate was in the box of your new phone.
