SprintPCS advertises accounts with free roaming and free long distance. They don't tell you that if you use long distance while you are roaming, you will be charged.

If you are out of your normal service area, and are calling 'long distance' (very likely since you are out of your normal service area) you will be charged $.25 a minute for 'long distance roaming'.

If you are out of your service area and are roaming, almost ALL calls will be long distance. This is not free as they advertise.

I was also lied to when I set up the account with them. I went into the store and told them that if they could match the features I was getting with Verizon, and charge me $125 a month for them, I would switch. The salesman agreed that he could do what I wanted for $125 a month. I found out two months later that It was $125 a month for two months, until a bunch of promotions ended, then was $150 a month after that.

That's not what I requested, nor what I agreed to. I had to fight with a service manager on the phone for over an hour to get it down to $130 a month, which is still not what I initially agreed to.

Sprint PCS continues their campaign of lies to customers just to make a buck. I will be switching away from them at first opportunity and will never go back in this lifetime.
