Sprint PCS Gave me credits and then cuts our service Reston Virginia
This all started one week before christmas of 2006. We get our paper bill in usually one or two days before they disconnect our service for non payment so my wife and I go into a sprint store to pay our bill as we were out doing errands anyway. We walk into the store and go to the payment machine. It wont take our payment for the bill. It says -$143.10. We ask a sales rep and he looks at our account. He says your deposit came in early and they gave you a credit on top of that. Merry Xmas! Great, now we can go xmas shopping for our extended family.
The thursday before christmas, my wifes phone gets cut off. The automated voice on my phone says we have a zero balence and a 143.10 credit on teh next bill. My wife's phone said they she would need to pay -143.10 to restore services. She argued with them for 5 hrs with no resolve. I was at work at the time. Durring this time, there was an emergency and she was not allowed to call 911 because of this. While she was arguing, she spoke to a rep, then later she called again and asked for a supervisor and the woman she got was teh first woman she talked to. 5 hrs before, she was just a rep. I guess she was promoted. She told my wife that it wasnt her problem this was happing and we owed over $400.
I called the next day and spoke to someone for 2 hours about the issue. He looked in the notes and aggred that credits were due and have not gone through. Her phone would be turned on within half an hour.
It wasnt and I spent another hour getting it back on. This is January 14th and my wife's phone is cut off again and now the credit have changed. Now its 131.90 but they want payment.
The credit check is lenient but don't be fooled. Sprint wants to rape you for your money, your sanity, and dosn't care anything about customer service. We are going to try Cingular/ATT/SBC or who ever they are today.

sprint does stink! the one thing i can say is every time they waste your time ask for a credit. if you really do that, on aaverage, between their screw ups that are pretty common, you will have a lower bill. sprint almost seems to realize they suck, and are quick to issue credits. also, if that does not work, threaten to leave, they will transfer you to their retention dept. and usually that dept will offer you some sort of sweeter deal than a csr can offer you, ie: a better monthly plan rate, free phone, ect. one thing, though, though thats not accurate, no cell phone company can restrict 911 calls. that is simply non sense. you could never pay your bill and 10 years later that copany is required to put a 911 call thru-so if you only truly need a phone for 911-a little advice, but a phone for 10 bucks used online and charge it once a month! no charges ever! and if you need 911 you just dial it.

I have been with Sprint for over 4 years about a year ago I was to recieve a credit for a service issue, the rep said he credited my account. The next day I call again and was advised another rep reversed the credit, I immediately asked for a supervisor which they are very reluctant to do they will either transfer you to a line that dosn't exist or simply hang up. Unfortunately this is just the beginning for you. When calling C/S you will get about 1 out 7 reps who will actually give you the correct info or actually look at your account, after a cou[le years of this bulls**t I said from now on I will only deal directly with the Speint store and with 1 rep there, so if i'm told incorrect info or something dosn't get done I can go directly back to that person and speak face to face. My advice is to only speak to someone directly at the store. Good luck
