Two years ago I signed up for a Sprint PCS account online and requested a phone number in my local area code. When the phone arrived, the phone number was for a different area code so I didn't activate the phone and called to request a different number. Sprint customer service said there were no numbers available in my area code, so I asked to return the phone.

No problem they said - that they would send a package to return the phone in and issue a full credit upon receipt of the phone. After two more calls I finally got something to return the phone in, but after two months, no credit to my VISA account. So I called VISA and cancelled the purchase.

Since then, for two years Sprint has been sending me a bill every month for $17.56, with no explanation ever. They are unresponsive to any kind of request by phone or mail. I guess I'll just continue to trash their bill every month. You'd think they'd get a clue. What lousy customer service.
