About four years ago I chose SprintPCS as a service provider because of its NO CONTRACT hype. I was paying a $39.99 monthly service fee plus $5.00 additional per month for web service.

I was given approx. 3000 free minutes per month and at no time did I ever exceed those minutes. So my monthly bill was always around $55.00.

Four years later I decided to drop the web service and eventually cancelled my service to go prepaid. Then I received a bill for over $500.00 and later learned that since I dropped my web service that I ,in affect, changed my plan and was automatically obligated for a two year agreement. So I was charged about $200.00 for early cancellation and some other erroneous charges that I have no idea what they are for.

I attempted to contact SprintPCS to request a detailed hardcopy of the last billing but always was either transfered to someone else or diconnected. By that time my bill was in collections and I refuse to pay.
