My ordeal has taken more than 6 weeks. In an effort to port my cell number from Sprint pcs to ATT, the run around and incompetance of the Sprint Staff and their policies would be laughable if not so frustrating. Sprint blamed ATT at all attempts to port the number. Untold time was spent on hold only to be givena new number and department to call. All conversations end with: "Thank you for choosing Sprint." After a while, it can make you scream.

The final upshot?? My number could NOT be ported (as of 4/29/04) as it is a "Priority" number...whatever that is. They told me it was a business number (yes, it is my cell phone and I use it while I work) and therefore could not be ported. It seems no one took the time to tell me that as of 5/24/04, it will be the law that ALL numbers will be able to be ported. Let's see if this works. I am so disgusted with the entire company. Unfortunately, my local system is Sprint, so I must use their service. The situations is pathetic and I hope the FCC takes the behavior of this company to task.
