SPRINT PCS ripoff dishonest fraudulent billing Renton Washington
I contacted sprintpcs inquiring about the longdistance charges.
They told me that it is a separate feature to be enabled at an additional charge. I said no. I called canada and it worked. I thought that it is a part of the longdistance plan, but, I was billed separately for that. Why should they keep this option open and did not inform me when I was asking questions during my previous inquiries?
Now, when I told them to close my account they are asking me to pay $150-00 as a penalty. They are sounding like cheaters

Sprint PCS Nationwide LD is withing the United States. And Last time I checked Canada was NOT part of the good ol' U.S. of A.. Mabey A geography class would do you some good. Calling internationally COST money! The cost to call Canada with your Sprint PCS phone is 42 cents per minute. If you make a lot of calls to canada, you can add the Canada LD option for $3 a month , and drop the cost to I BELEIVE 13 cents a minute (Check with Sprint to verify correct price) You can add this option either through CC or on your own through www.sprintpcs.com. If you call customer care MAKE sure you have the add the CANADA LD option NOT the $10 International Calling option. Call to Canada and Mexico and some other areas close to the US can be made WITHOUT the option if they use the SAME dialing proces we use such a 1 + area code +number (which Canada and mexico uses). if you have to dial a Country code+number, it will not go through. so basically it IS your fault.. They OFFERED you the option, but you declined it. So your stuck with your own stupidity.
