They instructed me to customer service and customer service had no record of my equipment purchase so they referred me back to the store. That was a month ago and I have not received my refund all I have is a recipte as proof refund is due but no refund they stole my cash I was ripped off big time by RIchard V. at the Waco sprint store and manager was unwilling to satisfy the matter and they continue to refer me to customer service that has no record of the equipment purchase that is to be refunded

Sprint Ripped Me Off Too

I had Sprint in North Dakota.  I called Customer Service to find out if they had service in South Dakota, as I was moving.

I was told that they did.  I purchased a 2nd line for my husband.  We moved a week later.

The minute we crossed the border in to South Dakota, our phones were "Roaming".  I was told that the plan I purchased for both phones did not actually "Roam", so there would be no extra charges.

After we got to our temp living facility (before being assigned a house- We are a military family), we noticed that there was very little bars on either phones.  I called Sprint Customer Service from a regular phone to complain.  I was told that no, they didn't have any towers in South Dakota.

WHAT?

I went to a Radio Shack and bought 2 phones with another cell phone service.  The Radio Shack employee cancelled our service with Sprint over the phone, while we stood there.  I talked to the customer service rep from Sprint myself, explaining that they don't have service in SD and therefore I could cancel my agreement without a cancellation fee.  I told them I would send my husband's new phone back, since I only got it for a discounted price with a new line.  Sprint customer service told me I didn't have to send it back.  I knew this was a lie, as it's in the contract about sending it back if you cancel early.  My line was no longer under contract.

I made sure and tracked the phone I sent back, to prove they received it.  I got a bill from Sprint for over $300 for the phone and over $200 for roaming!  I gave them the tracking info on the phone which showed it was signed for and by whom.  I told them I wasn't supposed to have roaming charges, and after discussing this with a manager, they finally took the charges for both the phone and roaming off my bill.

For 2 years after that, and still today, I get a "bill" from Sprint saying they owe me $.20 (yes, 20 cents).  I have written letters asking for either a check or to give it to someone else, since I had cancelled my account.  NOTHING happens.

I will never use Sprint again, and am not surprised they ripped you off.
