When we first met she had designated a specific place to meet which she did not know how to get to herself. That was unprofessional as far as I am concerned.
Then we both agree to sign an indipendent contractor's contract that states what I am to be paid and how often. It states that I will receive a check for my services on the Monday or Tuesday of the week following the next Friday after the services are rendered. For example, if I did some tutoring on a Saturday, I would receive a check for my services a week from the upcoming Monday or Tuesday.
She did not do that as stated. I should have received the check last Monday or Tuesday according to the terms. I called her during the week and she said she would send the check this last Friday. In addition she said I would receive an email when she sent the check. I have not received the check or any email indicating she has sent the check. I have tried to call her and she is refusing to get in touch with me about this.

I am the original author of this report that was filed against Square One Tutoring, LLC. I was upset about some delay of receiving my pay for a tutoring session I conducted. The whole situation turned out to be a simple misunderstanding between me and the owner. I am sorry to have filed the report and even sorrier that it cannot be totally removed due to the policy of Ripoff.com. I wish it could be romoved.
Please disregard the original report altogether. The owner is right, the report is not true and I apologize sincerely and deeply for filing it in the first place. I also apologize for any damage that has occurred as a result of this report. Again I wish it could be totally removed.

This person was hired as a tutor and he did not do a good job with the client so he was removed from the assignment. Then he submitted his invoice and since he really needed the cash, he started calling and harassing me about getting his check while his check was on the way. It was a weekend and the mail wasn't going to get to him until Monday or Tuesday. So I went out of the way to meet with him on a Saturday night to hand deliver the check to him. I had to drive close to 20 miles and wait for him for 30 minutes as he couldn't find the place he told me to meet him at. He was upset and very tight on cash so he posted this. Now he is trying to contact Ripoff Report trying to remove the post.
