Check the various SQUARE TRADE writeups here on Ripoff Reports, and elsewhere on the net. Afterward you will probably agree this company is conducting a consumer scam of extraordinary proportions.
We, all of us, need to ask 60 minutes and other media giants to infiltrate, investigate and do an expose on this huge $$ grab from the public. Similarly, we need a class action suit. Finally, we need to collectively write states attorney generals to get government intervention against Square Trade.
Most states attorney general won't act -- lazy, broke, don't care -- for what ever reason. The exception typically is the New York State Attorney General. That office has historically been aggressive in consumer protection. After NY goes forward and does all the work other attorney generals jump on board with their hands outstretched to collect from the scam artists.
Time to do more than just post on this site. In addition to repeatedly reporting Square Trade to the media investigative leaders, let's be very proactive on a class action suit and on getting NY to start the action against Square Trade.
