Square trade and ebay are cheating people with their feedback system which gives people who are willing to pay enough money to remove their negative feedback from their account. Square Trade lied about having contacted me via email so that they were able to remove my feedback without my consent. If I had been contacted I would not have agreed. Square Trade's "success rate" for "negative feedback withdrawal" is based upon the fraudulent practice not to contact the other party and not to give them the chance to say no. ebay lies in their feedback system with the note "buyer and seller mutually agreed..." because the consent of the other party is not necessary and Square Trade does not do anything to get the other party's consent.

Square Trade never contacted me in regards to the negative feedback I had given to someone who had lied about the car he posted on ebay and cheated my systematically. Without contacting me they removed the negative feedback and now it is showing up as "seller and buyer mutually agreed to remove the feedback" The seller had done this already 5 times and has a 100% positive feedback regardless of the fact that he cheats people.

Square Trade claims that I never responded to their email, how could I if I was never contacted by them ? The retaliatory negative feedback which the other guy gave me is still in my account and according to Square Trade it cannot be removed since the other guy started the action and paid for it.

"Mutual agreement" in fact means that the negative feedback is removed only for the paying party and the other party does not have to be involved. For Square Trade it is sufficient to state that the other party was contacted.

Paypal & SquareTrade are owned by eBay

I have been burned several times on eBay. The latest was courtesy of beautiful-is-easy. I bought an ultrasound massager to help with the therapy for rotator cuff surgery I had. I pay about $115 for it. It was defective, but when I sent it back the seller just kept the item and my money. I contacted eBay,Paypal & square trade. Basically they refused to help unless I paid them and then the most they would do was withdraw the feedback! Hopefully one day the federal government will get involved and may this group operate like an honest business.
The eBay, SquareTrade & Paypal mob only make money from sellers fees. Listing, photos and final value. They don't make one cent from buyers, that is until something goes wrong! Then they are glad to help you (the buyer) for a price! Welcome to the ultimate scammers circle!
