SR Discount Tire dba Master Auto Center Tommy Lee Sold used tires claming they were bran new Wailuku Hawaii,
I paid in full for 4 new tires for my truck and they did not have any in stock so I waited 3 weeks finally they came in. I can in and looked at tires and they had warn down beads on the tires and I stated they were not new. They stated that that tire must have gotten the beads warn when taking off the ship! I flipped and asked to see a manager and the owners came out and stated that all ties have there own signatures and that the tire I had did not come with a bead. He assured they were bran new. I stated that if he says they are new I will trust him. So they put the tires on.
I left and called the tire manufacturer directly and asked if all new tire that they send out all have beads and they stated that in fact all tires do have them and if not they are not new. I return and asked to speak with Owen and I explained what information I got and he stats all sales are final and for a change of $50 each tire to remove the new and place on my old ones at $50 each tire so a total of $400 I can have my old ones back. I left and called my bank and did a chardeback for the full amount. No only did they try to sell me used tirs but they tried to extort money by charging me to replace my old tires.
Do not ever use this company and know that Tommy Lee is a dishonest Person and should be shut down. I know that many others have been ripped off. The office staff has no clue what is going on. It took me 5 phone calls to track my original order to find my order. Horrible service and dishonest owners and staff. To top it all off they send an invoice with nothing owed but added a statement that there was an issue but client resolved it before leaving and signed my name. I am now processing in legal action for such actions and will be contacting the BBB as well.
