I enrolled in this insurance a few years ago and cancelled it. I then re-enrolled at the end of 2006. When I went to the doctor, (Jan. 2007)they called SRC to verify coverage. SRC/AETNA said they could not find me. I called 10 minutes later and was told, yes, I was enrolled as of December 2006, and that I was covered.

About a month later, I got some lab bills and a doctor's bill stating that the insurance company said I was not covered. I called SRC to verify and they said I was not covered and that I cancelled. (yes, I cancelled 3 years ago and re-enrolled) This has been going back and forth with them for 6 months.

Each time I call, I get a different answer. They are looking at the wrong enrollement date and I now have about $1000.00 in doctor's bills and lab fees that I have been paying deductables for and nothing is covered because of their mistake. They take money out of my check and still I have to pay the bills. What a racket they are running.

I have a letter on their letterhead admitting their mistake, yet they take no responsibility for it. Their "customer service" people are of no help at all and very condescending. There is also an address if you want to file an appeal. The appeals department works for SRC so who do you think they will side with?

They are a total rip off.
