Complaint Review: SRC Roofing

SRC Roofing put a new roof on our house in 2000. It originally appeared to be a good job. Unfortunately it leaked in heavy rains. SRC came out twice after heavy downpours & caulked the shingles-this had no effect on the leaks--(multiple leaks).

Finally frustrated over their inability to stop the leaks, I sent them a letter asking them to honor their warranty & replace the section of the roof that was leaking so bad & was obviously defective. There was no response to that letter or any of my follow up phone calls.

As the leaks grew worse, we were finally forced to pay another company to replace that section of the roof. They had to replace large sections of rotten wood due to SRC's defective roof. Unfortunatly SRC does not feel any obligation to honor their waranties or back up their work.

Thank You Rip-off Report for allowing ripped off consumers to share info--If more people would post & read reports, maybe some of these bad companies could be forced out of business or at least forced to honor their committments!!!!!
