Complaint Review: SRILATHA POTLURI & MADHAVI BOBBA

In November 2010, I read an advertisement published by Srilatha Potluri, for conducting SAP BI/BO training classes for a total fee of $800, for a 2 months course. Additional $50 for 24/7 access to a remote machine to practice hands-on/assignments. I contacted Srilata Potluri and expressed I wished to enroll for her classes. She promised to teach the SAP BI/BO topics as advertised by her, also assured assistance in job placements, resume writing and conducting mock interview sessions. She asked me to pay the fees money by doing online money transfer through Bank Of America to a another Bank Of America account holder named Madhavi Bobba. It was agreed the fees would be paid in installments, and it the classes were not as per expectation, the entire fees amount would be refunded.

After the 1st two installments were paid (online BOA transfers to Madhavi Bobba), the quality of the classes went down rapidly. Srilatha would not conduct the classes as per schedule, often changed the days and timings of the classes and still not show up for conducting the classes. When she did conduct the classes, she would rush through the topics and wrap it up in an hour. When questioned about the delays, course content not being up to the mark, and the 24/7 accesses not working most of the time, she would start narrating her personal problems, would get rude and ask the batch members to put up with it. Later not only did she stop conducting the classes, she stopped answering phone calls, nor respond to any emails.

The 24x7 access too turned out to be a shared between all the batch students and multiple logins not possible simultaneouly. That was waste of money. On other hand, the access expired before the class was completed as a result of delay from Srilatha. And when asked about it, she was rude and asked us to put up with it.

A couple of students from other batch got together and decided to investigate the matter and found that Srilatha Potluri is not even in the US and had made false claims she is in Dallas, TX. The IP information from her email header revealed she is operating from Hyderabad India. When we asked her about the false address on the advertisement and asked her about her real location she abruptly hung up. Srilatha Potluri had been using magic jack and calling using a US number. We were able to track down Srilatha Potluri and ask her for a refund of all our fees, to which she flatly refused and has been avoiding any contact with the batch members.  There is no address for Madhavi Bobba and we are unable to get in touch with Madhavi either. This was not only a waste of money, but waste of time and lost opportunities.

Beware if you are trying to do business with Srilatha Potluri or Madhavi Bobba you might regret it.
