SRVS Shelby Residential & Vocational Services Worked under manager Lobelia Cole-Smith in Memphis; Terrible Experience Memphis, Tennessee
I worked for SRVS for a while. It was a nice company. It did great work working with the poor and disabled. However, I had the unfortunate circumstance to work with manager Lobelia Cole-Smith. This was a terrible experience for me. She was very vindictive and played mind games. She was a very dangerous person with authority and power. The worst person who could be in management. However, she had the white folks fooled and they believed every word she stated. She was a different person around others.
If you work for SRVS and you work for her, be careful. Watch your back.

I agree with everything you are saying about Lobelia Cole-Smith. She is simply a product of Memphis. Due to Memphis historically having so few jobs, the people there are ruthless. It's how they operate. The blacks are the worse. Especially the black women. They backbite, backstab, throw each other under the bus, plot, plan, scheme, manipulate, lie - all to screw each other over in the hopes it will make their jobs more secure.
Of course the whites there are just fine with approach. They don't mind it at all. It serves their purpose.
If you must live in that dump of a town, the best thing for you to do is work for yourself. That way you avoid all the drama. It's not worth it and honestly the jobs don't pay enough there for you to trouble with the headache.
SRVS is a great organization with a great mission and they do a lot of good work. It's unfortunate that this low class ruthless tramp gave you such a hard time there. Normally its the cutthroat, ruthless blacks that get promoted in a place like Memphis anyway and it is also unfortunate that because of her actions she has impacted the public's opinion of SRVS.
By the way, "Welcome to the Club".. Everybody gets SCREWED in Memphis.
