SS Performance Automotive scam, false repair, criminal Ladysmith, Wisconsin
Jasen Kwasniewski the owner of SS performance automotive has a decent criminal record of theft and it shows in the way he manages his shop.
Jason overcharges on just about everything, fixes parts that dont exist, takes the liberty of replacing parts unnessicarily at his discretion, illegally modifying vehicles without the owners knowledge so that he can sell/reuse the parts, and sometimes doesnt have a credit card reader forcing his customers to pay cash, or make payments to his o'rileys account to avoid the taxes involved, he goes far over his quoted prices without permission of the customer, the most of which I have heard was by the amount of $2500.
Personally, I had what I thought to be a considerable amount of work done, only to have to EVERYTHING redone at REAL repair shops and additional parts fixed due to his previous "repairs", costing me in total over $8000 and ultimately causing me to have to sell my vehicle.
After speaking with serveral other previous customers and a previous co-owner (it was at one time located in Bloomer, WI) it is very clear that the time he spent behind bars wasn't nearly enough and he apparently has desires to go back.
