Banks and credit card companies are affiliated with these bogus charges and gave out your account information to these companies/membership programs.
Even if you choose not to take advantage of an offer they sent you - you will find yourself signed up for them anyway.
FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE FTC..
You should also indicate the name of the company associated with these charges.
