Complaint Review: sSelect Portfolio Servicing Inc

Select Portfolio Servicing is giving President Obama's Making Homes Affordable refinancing program a bad name. For over a year we have been trying to refinance. Our so called representative Casey Smith is abusive and intimidating. We are now told that they are going ahead with foreclosure because we did not circle a deposit on our bank statements. We were never asked to do this, just repeatedly asked for documents we had already sent.

This agency is a disgrace to the Presidency and all that has been accomplished to help Americans who were unknowingly put into bad loans. Personally we have two disabled adults, two minor children and a fragile elderly woman who are all going to end up homeless because of this wolf in sheep's clothing. Every time they say "You are all set" we are suddenly being told we did not send something in.

We've even contacted The White House, to no avail. SPS lied and said we did not submit papers (That we did, several times over.) And The White House Making Homes Affordable investigator simply told us they would "Note" our disagreement. I know our family is not alone, we've gone from predatory lender to predatory collections that will go to any length to get you into foreclosure. I really think we need a class action suit against this company for its misrepresentation, out right lies, manipulation, badgering and refusal to comply with the thirty day limit for approval or denial.
