To whom it may concern: You Got Homes

My name is Charles and my wife is Suzanne, we move into lot 58,

Austin.
IN on September 1, 2011. We moved in the trailer as is.

Beechwood Pointe Mobile Home Park. Mobile Home Parks are generally a nice to live. They run a criminal and financial background check at a minimal fee.

We first put a $425 deposit a month in advance but when we moved in a month later we started to have predicaments, when the gas company came out to turn on the gas, the gas man had to turn it off immediately because some one had stolen the supply line that goes into the furnace.

At that point the air condition personal had shown up to install central air and fixed the gas line. The gas man came back the next day to turn on the gas. Another small set back both showers had no shower heads, simple I went to the hardware store and purchased two and installed them myself.

Ok, I thought every kink had been worked out, boy was I wrong the refrigerator broke down in the same month, the manager sent out a man with another one. A week later that refrigerator broke down. The man that delivered it said if I had a problem to call him. A week later it broke down. I called him and he brought out another one. Three times a charm, it works.

The manager did tell us it was a fixer upper. Along comes February 2012, another problem the main water line had froze, I called the manager  and told her I would repair it and put on new heat tape and pipe insulation. I charged a cheap price of $25 labor and materials came to about $75. To my surprise she agreed and I was paid. Tax time, money to burn! I put new carpet in the living room and I put down tile in the hallways and kitchen. I repaired damaged drywall also replaced all the
hinges on the cabinets, that alone was $60. I custom built one food pantry and when we moved in there was no drawers for silverware so I custom built some.  I also painted one bathroom and the living room, kitchen. I had spent close to $2000 on the mobile home. The manager comes over and complements me on how nice it looks .Now my wife inquires about buying the
mobile home and I had made a DVD of the before and after repairs and gave it to the manager she told us that it would count for the price. This trailer was built in 1996.After several months my wife was told by the manager   that they were working on a price. Eventually the manager told my wife that YOU GOT HOMES were asking between $16000 and $17000.  The manager   told my wife that was a ridiculous price.  The summer of 2012 more troubles.

The front deck breaks and is a hazard to get into the home.
I said I would rebuild it if the manager bought the materials, she agreed and I built a new front deck and a back deck
free of charge. I have a Hispanic couple that lives beside me, one night they move out and a new Hispanic couple move in, I call the manager   and ask if she even knew about it and even do a background check. They always get their water
turned off because of being late on lot rent. There is a father down the park from me he gets his water turned off; he has two kids that go to school and two that are in diapers

He gets to clean out an abandon trailer to help pay his rent and I feel sorry for him and help him at no charge. You will get your water turned off if you are late on rent this is a fact. Just around November 2012 they move out two trailers one on each side of us. One was forced to move because of drug dealing. This was another nightmare,  around September of 2012 a couple moves in and all hell breaks lose , about 14 to 20 cars  a day were coming and going, plus the drug buyers would come to our house by mistake and I always tell them go next door. I complained to the manager and she said to me that she had personally went to the mans trailer and told him to slow down the traffic, I ask the manager   if she even did a background check on him. She said no because he wasnt on the lease. Indiana has a free web site where you can see all public records, I check the guy out and wow he had a long criminal history. Back to my dilemmas, on November the 9th around 1:30 am I
get woken up by a loud crash and flashing lights, the police and Scott county Sherriff,

FBI, State Troopers had broke the mans door down and surrounded his trailer and they were on the side of mine. I look out the front door and see all this commotion and shut my door. It was a major drug bust and all over the news. They were told to move the trailer out because of the drugs. The other trailer the Hispanic couple abandoned the trailer because they owed
back rent of $800 and they got their water shut off.  When they move out the trailers I started to get bed bugs. In hindsight I should have called the manager because it would be the landlord or owners  responsibility  to have treated our home for the bedbugs. I doubt they would have anyway, because ever since we have lived here I have requested a fan for the vent above the stove because every time we use the oven the smoke alarm goes off. Still no fan. I didnt because people associate
bedbugs thinking that youre filthy and that is false some of the finest hotels in New York, City have had them. So to avoid the stigma I have spent over $400 battling them. I think I should be paid back that money also. I have gotten rid of all our furniture and will have to start all over again, witch is not easy because we are on Social Security.   Our lease
had expired. We have been here 1 year and 4 months and never late on rent. My wife had told the manager  a month or two in advance that we were moving to be closer to our daughter whom we found out was diagnosed with lung
cancer  and requested our deposit of $425 and was denied it. We also told the manager   about the bedbugs, she took it like a grain of salt. My wife has called the manager several times and no response.

I cant believe you can treat disabled tenants this way. That You Got Homes is a company that cant be trusted and treat disabled good paying tenants unfairly. When I move I wont have the funds to replace all of our furniture. Thanks for helping my wife suffer more; she has multiple sclerosis since 1986. I told my wife when we first looked at this place that I thought they where crooks, she said I was crazy. I told my wife I had researched You Got Homes complaints at this web site http://www.ripoffreport.com.  Thanks for screwing us over You Got Homes!

P.S. We have succeeded in removing the bedbugs.
