The Saint Augustine Beachfront Resort is both the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, and has the worst hotel staff I have ever encountered. I paid for a poolside room, but was not given one. The room was dirty, smelled bad, and was run down. The TV was held together with duct tape. Worst of all, we had no hot water 2 of the 3 nights we were there. Every complaint we made the concierge was going to address immediately or fix, or the maintenance crew was already workign on, only nothing was ever resolved. We demanded at least a partial refudn. The staff said we should be entitled, but since we booked through Orbitz, we would have to go home and call them. As soon as we left the building, the St. Augustine Beach Front Resort washed their hand of the hwole thing and blocked every effort to give us at least some of our money back.
