st matthews church Send Letters Asking For Donations tulsa, Oklahoma
I have been donating to St. Matthews via: check for over 3 years! Now I find out it was all a scam???? Oh boy I wish I checked Rip Off Report before I mailed all those checks.
They make it appear that you are helping Indian kids and the money is used for them. They refer to you as "Brother" in these letters.
Is this correct that Saint Matthews of Tulsa Ok. is a scam??? Any feed back would be kindly appreciated!!!

Prayer does work...well, it does for me anyway. That said, the rug was kinda creepy! lolol! I first felt this was a scam because it was done in an unprofessional manner...the web site doesn't even have a section where, if you were to donate you could.
Anywho, faith is something that comes within not from an anonymous sender via mail.

any person of faith who would use this scam as valid ..even within their faith is part of the problem.
Reality is any person of faith who would sucumb to this scam even knowing that the scam is a scam, will likley not be in heaven anyway.
The #1 evil in this world is not evil itself, its the misguided christian. they are the ones that evil loves to manipulate.

Yes it will not work if you do not have faith, and in your case you are screwed.

I just got the very amusing prayer rug in the mail. The instructions are to SEND IT BACK so another family can use it for their prayers. You are to include your own prayer requests and a voluntary donation. Are people really that gullible to believe a paper "prayer rug" can help their situation? People this is 2011 !!!!! Come on!!!!!!
For those living under a rock, here's a link to the 2006 prayer study. You know, the one where researchers actually tested to see if prayer works. What a shock- it didn't.
