I first received a letter about a month ago. It was a little corny but all the pages contained scripture straight from the Bible. There were some point of faith exercises that were suggested and I did one of them. They sent me a small book to read. To me this was encouraging. (We need all the help we can get on this earth from each other.)

Their use of the "form" letter style alarms me to some extent. The rebuttals I have read on this site are informative. I feel that God rewards the heart of the person that wants to tithe no matter what way it is done. If this method is unconventional, let it be that way.

I don't see any harm in it if it edifies the other person but I don't know if I would give full tithes to a church you are not physically part of or near for fellowship. I recently sent my own letter. If I do not get a "personal" response and just a form letter back, they will not be seeing anymore correspondance from me.
