Complaint Review: Stacey Eastman

If you're reading this, I'm guessing you just got scouted by a "Pulse" scout. You may be a mother, or the aspiring model herself. Well, I'm glad you are here. I'm here to report the absolute truth and nothing but the truth. And you deserve to know the truth.

 All of Stacey's scouts are pretty oblivious to what he does. (Lacey, Vikki..etc) They haven't had insight into Pulse Management like you think they have. Stacey is full of crap. He blows himself up to be this huge, powerful dude in the fashion industry. And mysteriously, his scouts have never actually seen him conduct work before. And that's probably because he SUCKS at it. He is unproffesional. I'm sure you have a million questions running through your mind right now. I know I did, it's only normal. Don't try to ask him by text or email. Because his texts and emails take hours..even days to recieve. And when you finally do recieve them, they contain usually a one word answer or one you can't even understand.

 If you do enough research, you will find about 7 mugshots of Stacey. Most, if not all of them, are for substance abuse. Do you really want to trust this guy with your daughter? I don't think so. Look up "Stacey Eastman mugshots" and you'll see for yourself. They were years ago but the guy still is a little nuts if you know what I mean.

 Now I'm guessing if you've already talked to Stacey you've been invited to Hollywood to do the dolls shoot with Rodney Ray. He's probably told you you're awesome and he can do big things for you. Well I'm sorry to say this but, he invites everyone. Why? Because he charges what is it...$1600 for it? But takes money to make money Stacey, right? Actually he is dead wrong, because most test shoots cost only a couple hundred bucks and those are much better quality. I don't care what he tries to tell you, ask anyone in the industry but $1600 is WAY too much to pay. And let's face it, times are rough. Rodney Ray sucks at photography and if you look up most of his work, it practically looks like porn. He tried to pressure my daughter into wearing not appropriate clothing, or lack therof, for a 16 year old.

The pictures you paid $1600 for take forever to get back and they are completely unedited and low quality. Stacey claims to use them to send to his whole 3 partnerships. He claims to be incredibly powerful, but in reality he doesn't have buisness ties with any agencies but his partnerships. Sure he has other agencies besides Photogentics, Fusion, and City that his girls are with but he signed them with those agencies back before the doll shoot started and he became lazy. He is lazy because if you aren't a superstar and those agencies don't love you, he gives up on you.. and that's about 97% of the girls coming in through the  doll shoots. (The other 3% are the few he constantly is talking about. Notice how he only has maybe 10 he talks about? If that. And during my dolls shoot there were apparently around 30 girls showing up for the weekend. He does Dolls shoots pretty often so you do the math.) Then you are stuck with a contract and don't have the oppurtunity to model anymore until you write him a letter or you wait for it to be up. Oh and where did your 1600 go? Just to his flight, his wife's flight, their rental car, their super expensive doll's house they are renting. (It's not even in a studio or a cool location like it should be! It's up against a garage door or something) OH and I forgot to mention...he profits most of it. Which is why, of course, he lives on some huge ranch in Oregon with all of it's bells and whistles and his kids are living the high life. He has you to thank.

Stacey is a cool, entergetic dude that pumps up everyones ego. He makes you and your daughter feel like Pulse is the right place for you and that you are going to travel the world and become a star. Keep in mind all he wants and cares about is the money... but he was good at convinving us to come to the Doll's shoot. He should be a cars sales person instead, maybe he'd make money without ripping people off? Shayna (his wife) is not like Stacey. She is very much to the point, and targets how they are going to get the money from you. She was sweet and professional in the emails when we were figuring out how we were going to make the payment to them, but when we actually met her at the shoot that all flew out the window and she became a s****.>

Once you are done with the shoot you can try to contact Stacey all you want but sadly, for most of the doll girls, you won't hear much of a reply. At first it is very minimal, and then it just goes away. 

I suggest you stay away from Pulse. If your daughter really wants to model, I suggest sending her pictures in to the bigger agencies online. You can go to Models.com and it will list great angecies from each major city or you can just start with a local agency to launch her career. Stacey will put down all of those ideas because they are not Pulse, therefore he will not get your money. 

Watch out for Stacey. He is a really great speaker and will say anything to get you to show up in LA. It's not worth it. Find the real deal..because no matter what he tells you, he's not. 

P.S. He is not BBB credited. If you go to his website (pulsemgmt.com) and actually click on the picture where it has the BBB symbol it will take you to the official BBB website. And there it shows you that he isn't BBB credited because BBB actually pulled his membership. Do your research people, it's important.
