The first time i worked for StaffON models, the event was quite pleasant. I signed the timesheet there at the event with the Futbolito staff. A month goes by and StaffON models have still yet to pay me. I sent repeatedly emails and phone voicemails. Finally they decide to call me back and stated that there was a mix up with the time sheets. Still no pay.

On Nov 6th of 2009, Someone from staffON models contacts me asking if i would like to do another event with them. Guess when they decide to pay for my last event i did almost 2 months ago. They paid me my $80. Thats it!,  just $80 and they couldnt even pay that immediatly. So i decide to do the Nascar event still not being 100% about the company.

I drove 45miles to ft worth speedway and 45miles back 2 days in a row. I remember one of the girls being excited to do an event because she really needed the money, her car had broke down and she needed to pay the sitter. I stated to her that if shes needing the money quickly this company is not up to their word.

I was right the company is NEVER up to their word, and consistantly find ways to make excuses on the reason for no pay. I have now heard several accounts from girls who have worked for this company and to this day have not recieved payment for events that have worked for. This is unacceptable.

Im not going to work events for you so i can pay YOUR bills. This Scam company needs to be put to a STOP!!!

Sincerly,

A Professional Beautiful Talented Model

White Fights: The Fights Enter A New Frontier

#5Consumer Comment

...Ahh These Fights Continue On.  The contenders never cease to amaze me it seems at times.  Now the fights enter into the frontier of the modelling world involving Cynthia Rice a.k.a. Cynthia "Staff-On" Rice!

One thing we must often learn in fights of these types is that if they tricked you before they can indeed trick you again!

..The tricks only die down for a time!  So what if one is "paid" now it does not mean that others have to be "paid" later

Plus this colorless fight needs a little more "color" with it and its time to be creative with that "color" content by seeing who the contenders really are and including also perhaps another contender named

.....Craig Tims

...Because at the end of it all the colorless ones will always continue on with their compromises and with their conflicts

StaffOn Models finally paid all the girls and are going to court against Extenze. I hope StaffOn Models win the case. These companies should not take advantage of modeling agencies. Thank you StaffOn Models for compensating your talent. I hope the best for you.

Compensation

Company stated they were processing checks wednesday of March 3 2010, I have yet to recieve payment. Today is Thursday March 11 2010. It should not take 8 days when we both live in DFW area to recieve a check.

On Report i didnt say harsh things about company, just the fact they take forever to pay, and ive heard several accounts from other Models this company you have to be on them constantly.

If you were in my shoes you would do the same thing. If you saw Channel NBC 5 about 4 months ago you would of seen the company i worked for American Financial Strategies and received NOTHING.. They ended up investigating the company and Everyone who was working for company after me did not listen and they ended up not getting paid as well.

Another instance, I worked for Jewerly company the end of November and drove miles and miles to work and to this day have not recieved payment.

So if you could please understand my fustration, and how if you have not paid me for more than 30 days and returned emails or phone calls, i take that as getting away from the problem, and maiking excuses like the other companies not to pay.

Response for Slow Payment

#5REBUTTAL Owner of company

Sun, February 21, 2010

We sincerely value all of our Talent and appreciate the effort they put in to satisfying our client's needs.  In this case Monique preformed exnd actly as expected and was a credit to herself and our company and would wish to submit her for work when this is rectified.

Each Model/Talent that contracts with StaffOn does under certain terms and conditions.  They each execute a "Non Exclusive Listing Agreement" with StaffOn.  In this regard, Paragraph 2 of our standard agreement reads: "Paychecks, issued through our  Bank, will be cut on the 1st and the 15th of the month (moved forward on weekends and Holidays), provided payment by the client has cleared the Bank on those days.  In general, we expect payment from our clients withing 30-45 days following an event.  However, although it is rare, some clients may take up to 90 days for payment........."

In the case of Monique, her event occured on 9/26/09.  Generally we receive time sheets within a week so that we might invoice the client.  In this instance, we did not receive the time sheets.  In discussions with Monique we asked if she had kept the copy of her time sheet, which she informed us that she had not.  If she had, we could have proceeded with invoicing. After many conversations with the marketing client the time sheets issue was finally resolved 10/22 and on 10/22 we were able to invoice. We received their check on 11/12, and Monique received her check in hand 11/17.

Monique's check was $80, which represented the 4 hours she worked at the agreed $20 per hour.

The second event that Monique referrs to is the Extenze promotion that was held at Texas Motor Speedway on 11/7-8/09.  We have yet to be paid on this event by Extenze, which is the subject of another Rip Off Report Post by our partner in not only this event but like events at Phoenix and Homestead, FL later in the year. Title to that report on this site is:

Biotab Nutraceuticals/Extenze Heinz Kohler Biotab/Extenze Company A Total Scam-Payment Not Received For Models/Talent Promoting Their Products Monrovia, California

In spite of the fact that we have not been paid by Extenze on these events we, and our partner, began sending checks last week to our talent.  We will have to pursue legal action against the client, but we do want to get our Talent paid.  This is something that is rarly done, if ever done, in this industry.  No Model Agency is a Bank.  We are agencies that are hired by clients with the expectation that those clients pay in a timely manner.  We pay our Talent when we are paid.

It is unfortunate that this "Report" take it upon itself to be the vehicle to be accuser, judge, jury and executioner.  The entities that are filed against have no recorse but to have their reputations damaged by this site, and the people that make uninformed accusations against legitimate individuals and companies, then offers to "minimize" the impact of these accusations by altering the position of the accusations on the search engines...........of course, for a large fee.  It's no wonder that the State of Arizona is now making people liable for any defamation caused by erroneous postings on this site.

Anyone who wishes to see the "paper trail" that verifies all of the facts presented here is free to contact us.  We are totally transparant in all of our dealings with Talent.
