I took our van in for warranty repairs on Monday, Jan 16, 2006. I told service writer, Robert, to call if anything was not covered under warrany-service. He said the repairs manager, Paul, would be calling me.

On Friday, Jan 20, 2006, the dealershhip called letting me know the van was ready and the bill was $367.27. I said for what. It was all warranty work & anything other than that they were supposed to call me. I was then told it was for diagnosis & battery replacement, even though they couldn't find anything wrong.

I NEVER gave written or verbal authorization for any work beyond the warranty work. I was never told nor was it posted there were any charges for "diagnosis". I expressed my perplexity w/ the charges & was passed off to the "sales" manager, Chris Johnson, who basically told me if I wanted my van pay the bill.

I asked to speak to the owner & was told "I am who you talk to". He would not give owner's name.

I then called Roadtrek (George, Gen Mgr)in Canada & spoke to them. He was able to reach Mr Rod Stahlmann as is a deraler for Roadtrek & expressed his concern about the unauthorized repairs. Mr. Stahlmann was not open to discussing the matter.

George stated he was dissappointed in Mr Stahlmann's decision. I then told George I was going to pursue other legal options & he has volunteered to assist us in any way he can. He agreed what the Stahlmann Dealership was doing was wrong.

And to add salt to the wound told us there was nothing wrong with our van except the battery was dry. That's when I asked why all the charges & was then about the "diagnosis" chargers. I asked them to remove their unauthorizied battery & Chris, mgr, hang up on me.
