I purchased a leather couch and got the warranty with Stainsafe. In October the frame broke and we called and made a claim. A service technician was supposed to come look at it but never showed up. I called the company and they informed me that they no longer worked with Stainsafe.

I contacted Stainsafe about this and they agreed to replace the couch. The only problem was that I had to return it to the store where I purchased it. I had moved to Texas from Missouri after purchasing the couch. After contacting them again on the matter they agreed to either find a store close by or that they would pay $500 thus ending the warranty.

I had to then send a notarized release form. Once the accounting coffice received the form "a check would be issued and mailed to you within 8 to 12 weeks." I have contacted them several times through emails and phone calls. (The average time I have waited to speak to a person is 30 minutes.) I was informed that accounting had received the release form and that it had been approved but the check has not been cut.

I called today now that it has been 14 weeks and all they could tell me was that the it was in the accounting department and all they could do was email them to check on the status. Stainsafe should not be allowed to stay in business.
