We purchased a Lazy Boy recliner sofa and recliner chair from SEARS Homelife in Nashua NH on October 11, 2000. They came out for the next three months to replace/fix the reclining mechanisms then went out of business by 10/09/01.

Both the the chair and sofa have major problems. After receiving written confirmation of full replacement of both pieces of furniture a YEAR later (they replaced the chair)they have not replaced the sofa. each time we call they give us many different stories. Now they want to give us $400.00 Because the furniture is over 2 years old now-because they were NOT PROMPT) and to release them from their contract. (We spent 1499.97)

We have not received a sofa replacement because they did not pay the local Lazy Boy dealer for the replacement chair for over 6 months (after delivery) and they won't deal with Stainsafe unless they pre-pay Now even though I have a claim number I can not talk to a human at Stainsafe on the status and have to start the process all over.
