I went to Staley’s Tire to simply have my Tire’s Rotated on February 11’th 2014, They Pulled my 2004 Jeep Wrangler Sport in to the bay and checked my Jeep out and stated that I had upper & lower Ballpoints bad and they needed replaced. They could not do it that day but scheduled me for February 13’Th at 9:00am. I took my Jeep in, they fixed my Jeep (Changing Ball Joints on my Driver’s Side, Doing a front end alignment and rotating the tires costing me $227.74) and I drove it home. I noticed the Jeep was all over the road having minimal control of it. The Steering was very sloppy. The next day I had to rum to Washington PA, putting me on the Highway. I had absolutely no control. I took it back that following Monday and explained to him that issue and Mark, the only was extremely hostile and rude to me stating “Nothing we did would have messed up your Jeep, I hate when people try to tell me how to do my Job!” I stated that I was not trying to tell anyone how to do their job, I was trying to explain that my vehicle has NEVER done this before.. He wanted to hear none of that raising his voice once again to! He’s coddled me and took my Jeep back into the Bay for only seconds coming back and saying “we put a little bit of air in your back tire, if this doesn’t work, we will rotate your tires back the way they were??” I stood there in amazement.. Stepped outside after being embarrassed as to what had just happened and called my husband Crying, I tried to explain what had just happened and he replied for me to drive it home and that he would call them.

I keep my Jeep in the garage and that’s where it staid for the remaining two days. My husband stepped out into the Garage and smelled Gear Oil. Apparently the Garage reeked of it, as he stepped around my Jeep there was a puddle of it under my driver’s side of the Jeep. He came up and asked me back my Jeep out and when I did, the driver’s side Axle Seal had been nicked as they put my Axle and Ballpoints back in. It’s a simply mistake that can be done when they replace ballpoints, but it does happen. I immediately went down on to their garage and waited while he was with other customers, they pretty much ignored me for 10 minutes then Mark looks over and say’s “What do you want!” I told him my driver’s side was leaking Gear Oil and that your workers probably nicked my seal putting the axle back in. He storms out looking under my wheel, again for only seconds and states” Just go wash it off, it’s probably just dripping from when they took the axel out” There’s nothing I can do, we replace these all the time, I’ve done hundreds of them, you probably did that 4wheeling??” mind you I haven’t wheeled in this jeep since last year. I said to him seals don’t bust sitting in the garage on their own, Mark stated it wasn’t his problem, “it wasn’t even possible for them to have done that”

So now what was supposed to be a tire rotation, has turned into a major ordeal! I now have Thousands of dollars in damage to my Jeep that they obviously did, will not make it right and to top it off my husband called them and got told and I Quote” Stevie wonder could do this job and not make that mistake” SO we are not getting anywhere with them I took my Jeep that Day down to Jim King, a local Mechanic and he stated the same thing my husband and I originally thought, He nicked the seal putting my axel back in that it’s a 12$ seal and they would have had to of known they made that mistake as they were doing it and should have told me then they damaged my seal. I have 3 estimates to get the seal replaced and it is very expensive because my Jeep is a custom Jeep with a 4” lift. This is horrible business and I will never go there again.
